Jeff Dahlgren’s art provides just a glimpse into his creative and explorative mind,which is filled with intense visuals and constant inner dialogue. Born and raised in Atlanta, Jeff has been painting since 1996 as a way to sort through the images running in his head. Self-taught and still learning, he is constantly experimenting with new techniques and exploring art history, yearning for revelation. The results of these quests are emotionally rich figures and landscapes, or perhaps more accurately, mindscapes. Because his paintings come directly from his heart and mind, Jeff feels a personal attachment to each one and is often reluctant to see them go.
