When Emmy Dudley studied at the University of Georgia, she thought she would become a photo-journalist, so there were some art courses in her curriculum. When it came to painting however, she and the art faculty parted ways. The nerve of them to suggest that cats cannot be pink! From that point Emmy decided to give her creativity the freedom it lacked in school by learning to paint on her own. Now she proudly proclaims that she is a self-taught artist. Emmy paints intuitively, letting her work develop a life of its own. The final products are happy and energetic images that easily bring a smile. Her work reflects her own optimistic attitude.
